So… I have gained some enthusiasm because of #68 and I have decided to split up and scrumble samples from now on. Up to now I’ve been using external software for this purpose, but in the future, I am planning to use Ableton’s own features to slice samples into 8, 16 or 32 pieces. Today I’ve tried to slice up a violin sample manually into non-equal 30 pieces and see how it feels trying to produce a new melody by playing it back as a different sequence.
